Danielle Choinski

RN, BSN & Libby’s Granddaughter

About me

Danielle began volunteering with local and national organizations at the early age of 15 after attending Hugh O'Brian Youth (HOBY) Leadership Seminar. She dedicated almost eight years to a local organization for special needs children and volunteered annually for New Jersey HOBY. A passion for giving back led to deciding on a career as a registered nurse. She continued volunteering as she attended Ramapo College of New Jersey to obtain a Bachelor of Nursing.

Through the years, Danielle built a goal of having her own non-profit organization for a focus in which she could make a difference. As a nurse, Danielle understands the importance of educating the community to increase knowledge of disease prevention, diagnosis, and management. It was not until the unfortunate passing of her grandmother, Libby, that she finally found her calling - colon cancer prevention.

Danielle recruited her mother, Teresa DaSilva Choinski, and sister, Lauren Choinski, to join the fight against colon cancer. Their impact has continued to grow with the support of family and friends.
